Meet our Staff

  Mike Green

  Executive Director
  
  Mike has served as Executive Director of Tuscaloosa Youth For Christ for 25 years and has 30 years experience total in YFC. Motivated by a desire to see teenagers become lifelong followers of Jesus he continues to lead Tuscaloosa YFC toward its vision of reaching every young person in our community with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Mike is a product of YFC's local ministry, first becoming involved as a college student in the early 80's. He and his wife Laura returned to Tuscaloosa in 1994 to give leadership to the ministry.

  Laura Green

  Office Manager

  Laura has been on staff with Youth for Christ for 20 years. Laura grew up in Vermont and graduated from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL with a B.A. in Modern Languages. Laura enjoys working behind the scenes at the YFC office to ensure that the ministry staff are fully equipped to achieve the mission that God has placed before them. She and Mike are the parents to two children, both of whom are proud University of Alabama graduates.  Their daughter Brittany works as an accountant in Huntsville, Alabama, and is married with two young children.  Their son Ross works in municipal administration in the San Francisco, California area.  If you need to contact the YFC Office, email Laura at laura@tuscaloosayfc.com.

  Lauren Peabody joined Youth for Christ as a volunteer in July 2019. She became a Parent Life Director at Central High School in January 2020.
