YFC Tornado Response

The ministry of Youth For Christ is still here and needed more than ever. This morning I was on campus as students arrived for their first day back in school after the tornado. The halls were quieter than normal due to the fact that only half the students were in attendance. Conversations with administration informed me that most reports were of youth surviving the tornado but not all made it through safely. I spoke with a few students in the hallways. They were subdued, as if trying to make sense of it all. YFC will continue to be here for these students. The hardest hit areas in Tuscaloosa are exactly where God has placed our ministries. Three key schools we work in Central High (Rosedale Courts), Bryant High (Alberta) and Davis Emerson Middle School (Crescent Ridge Road) are where the greatest damage and loss of life took place.
Our kids need us more than ever. If you want to make a difference in the lives of the kids and families in these areas Youth For Christ is ready to go with you. Your time and your financial gifts will make a difference. Please lift our community up in prayer.
